A34 closed last night after an ambulance and bus collide

The A34 at Yarlet was closed for several hours last night after an ambulance was in collision with a bus.

The incident happend just after 8pm (on the 25th March) on the Stafford bound A34 at Yarlet Bank, by the Greyhound Inn.

Staffordhshire Police, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Highways England attended the incident in which thankfully nobody was injured.

The ambulance was not on a 999 call at the time.

Two ambulances and three paramedics officers assessed three ambulance staff and six passengers from the bus. Thankfully nobody required any further treatment so all were discharged at the scene.

The road re-open several hours later after both vehicles were recovered.
