With pubs being allowed to re-open this coming Saturday (4th July), we have pulled together the information shared by Stone pubs detailing their plans & safety measures.

New information will be updated as we receive it. Please note; this is not intended to be a complete list of the measures taken, this is the information we have available at time of writing.

Confirmed Opening Dates and Details:

The Red Lion

Opening: Saturday 4th July – 1pm

Summary of safety measures:

  • Bookings only – slots are up to two hours
  • Up to two households/ bubbles for tables inside/up to 6 in a group outside
  • Social distancing at each table and between tables
  • Groups sat outside will have to remain outside for the duration of their booking
  • queue system outside the pub and the booking system will primarily be in place for weekends only.
  • On arrival, one person from group will be asked to place the group order at the screened off till area at the bar whilst the others are shown to their table
  • Card payments if possible, and there will also be an ordering app available
  • Drinks to be collected from the bar on a tray.
  • No darts, pool or gambling machine
  • No vaping is allowed inside

  • Friday: 3pm – 11pm
  • Saturday: 1pm – 11pm

The Royal Exchange

Opening: Saturday 4th July – 12pm

Summary of safety measures:

  • Strict 1m distancing
  • Payment is by card only, contactless preferably
  • Have to book a table – table service only
  • Bookings up to a maximum of 6 people from 2 different families or bubbles.
  • Booking requires full names, contact number and addresses, number of people, and time.
  • No vaping allowed
  • There will be a queuing system in place outside

  • Monday – Thursday 4pm – 10pm
  • Friday – Saturday 12pm-11pm
  • Sunday 12pm – 9pm

The Lamb Inn

Opening: Saturday 4th July – 2pm

Summary of safety measures:

  • Table booking – Inside tables must be from the same household/bubble (max 6 people). Outside tables can be any 6 people, with social distancing. Booking slots are for 2 hours maximum
  • You will be asked to nominate 1 of your group to order, pay for and collect drinks at the bar. CASH ONLY
  • Use the hand sanitiser provided as soon as you enter the building
  • One door in, one door out policy.
  • Maintain social distancing of 1m+ at all times.
  • No darts or pool
  • Anti-bacterial wipes will be next to the jukebox and quiz machines
  • One in, one out system in both Ladies and Gents toilets
  • Remain at your reserved table
  • No vaping inside
  • We will still be welcoming dogs. They must be kept on a lead at all times. No dogs are allowed on any of the furniture.

• Full name
• Contact number
• How many people in your group (max 6)
• Time you would like to book your table for
• Whether you would like to be seated inside – please specify bar or lounge or outside – please specify front or back. If you book an outside table and the weather takes a turn for the worse, we possibly won’t be able to accommodate you inside.

We will then text you back to confirm your booking (subject to availability) along with a table number and seating area. You will need to quote this information upon arrival.

The Bridge Inn

Opening: Saturday 4th July – 12pm

Summary of safety measures:

  • Check-in service to reserve a table inside(max 6 people)
  • Outdoor seating on a first come first served basis.
  • Walk ins allowed if space is available
  • Entrance is via The Car park doors only.
  • All customers are required to use the Hand Sanitiser on arrival (and throughout their journey).
  • Due to Track & Trace ALL customers need to supply a contact Name & Number via a Text Message. This information will be destroyed after 21 days to adhere to Data protection and will not be shared with anyone other than the NHS Track & Trace.
  • Go straight to your seat ensuring a 1m distance from others
  • All seats/tables laid out to accommodate the 1m rule, protective screens where this not possible
  • Do not move any of the chairs
  • Strictly NO STANDING at the bar
  • Orders & payment taken at table, (preferably contactless). Table number will be called to collect drinks from collection point.
  • No live music, ambient music only.
  • Limited menu, order from your table. Disposable menus are available on request.
  • One in one out system in the toilet areas.
  • Hand-washing and sanitising
  • All tables and hotspot areas (such as door handles) will be sanitised on a regular basis.
  • Children to remain at the table at all times. Children are allowed into the pub until 7pm.

BEAR

Opening: Saturday 4th July

  • Staff to wear PPE where required and continue frequent hand washing
  • Extra sanitising of touchpoints
  • Perpex screens in key locations
  • Table layouts changed to allow for social distancing
  • Slightly reduced capacity allowed in stores
  • Card payments only (no cash), contactless payments wherever possible
  • Counter service as normal – one customer per table joins the queue to order
  • Disposable masks available behind the counter
  • All visitors to log on to a Test & Trace Register via in-store WiFi. This data will be used only for Test & Trace purposes

The Talbot

Opening: Saturday 4th July – 12pm

Summary of safety measures:

  • Bookings taken, but walk ins allowed if space is available
  • Hand sanitiser at the entrance
  • Nominate one person from party to order and retrieve drinks from the bar at designated places when empty
  • Required to obtain contact details of all our patrons as part of the NHS track and trace
  • Remain seated throughout visit other than to use the toilets/bar/outside smoking area
  • Maintain social distancing (1 meter, 2 where possible)
  • Once all of the tables are taken, no further admittance until another table becomes available.
  • Sporting events will continue to be shown in-line with the above measures, no singing, shouting or chanting
  • Currently no time limits or drinks limits

The Three Crowns

Summary of safety measures:

  • First week bookings only.
  • Cashless system – bank cards/Apple Pay/Android pay or download app to pay at table.
  • External areas in limited use
  • Door host who will explain the new service cycle and escort to table.
  • Maximum party size will be 6 people
  • Reduced capacity to meet social distancing guidelines

The Star

Opening: Saturday 4th July – 12pm

Summary of safety measures:

  • All door handles, toilet taps, flushes etc cleaned every 30 mins
  • Bar – full clean down at least 4 times every day.
  • Face masks available for any staff member that wishes to wear them.
  • Everyone must be seated
  • No standing or sitting at the bar
  • Table service provided where possible
  • Drinks to be purchased at the till but collected from a collection point at the side of the bar
  • One way system for entry and exit (front door by carpark will be entry only)
  • Sanitised station before entering the building
  • Back door leading to the beer garden will be the exit door (Exception for wheelchair users to use the ramp for entry)
  • Return empty glasses to the table provided before reordering
  • Maximum group size 6
  • No vaping allowed inside the building
  • Only 2 people are allowed in the toilets at any one time. So please be patient if needing to use the bathroom.
  • Children allowed under strict supervision
  • Only 1 person allowed on the fruit machine at any one time.(if operational)

Little Stoke Cricket Club

Opening: Saturday 4th July – 2pm

Summary of safety measures:

  • ‘Members only’ policy
  • Places must be booked in advance with Barry Roden – 07985 890333 or barryroden1958@gmail.com
  • Available time slots: Monday-Friday 5pm – 7pm and 7.30pm – 9pm; Saturday and Sunday 2pm – 5pm and 5.30pm – 8.30pm. Gap between bookings to allow for the cleaning of tables etc. The finishing time of the evening slot may be extended at the bar staffs’ discretion.
  • Double slots can be booked 30 mins before the allotted time if available.
  • Drinks will be brought to you and an ordering system will be in place.
  • One way system for entry to and exit from the Club.
  • Contactless/card payments preferred but cash accepted
  • 6m x 14m marquee will be sited at the rear of the pavilion for extra covered seating; outside seating to the front of the pavilion will also be available. (Bring your own chair to use outside in your bubble if you wish)
