Stone organisations can tap into grants worth up to £5,000 from the B2022 Small Grants Fund and the Together Fund, both being administered by Together Active Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent.
The funds are available to those looking for help to:
- Bring people together and deliver a new physical activity or sports sessions in the area
- Support and train their workforce
- Get their organisation back up and ready to deliver physical activity/sport after the pandemic
- Help with increasing costs
There are two funds available for that Stone organisations can apply to, watch out for the deadlines!:
The B2022 Small Grants Fund
This fund is part of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Legacy Fund and is only available in the West Midlands area.
It provides awards of between £100 and £2,500 for clubs, groups and community organisations who target the following under-represented groups:
- People from Lower Socio-Economic Groups
- Culturally Diverse Communities
- People with Disabilities
- People with Long-Term Health Conditions (including Mental Health)
- Any other underrepresented group which you have identified as a priority in your community

The Together Fund
The Tackling Inequalities Fund has been renamed the ‘Together Fund’.
It awards funding of up to £5,000 to support organisations helping engage local communities in physical activity and sport, and must focus on at least one of Sport England’s target audiences:
- People from Lower Socio-Economic Groups
- Culturally Diverse Communities
- People with Disabilities
- People with Long-Term Health Conditions (including mental health)
