Stone Town Council’s newly elected members will be meeting on Tuesday the 23rd May, at 7pm, as the General Purpose and Planning Committee meetings take place – here’s what’s on the agenda!

The two meetings taking place are the General Purpose Committee and the Planning Committee – here are details of what the two committees cover:

General Purposes Committee

Main responsibilities: To consider policy issues in relation to, and to scrutinise the operation of, all aspects of Council work which can be legally delegated by the Council.

Main responsibilities: To consider planning applications within the Town Council area and make comments to Stafford Borough appropriately, and to consider policy issues in relation to planning applications.

   There are no sub-committee minutes for consideration.
9. Sub-Committee Terms of Reference
   To consider, and update if necessary, the terms of reference for the Council’s Sub-Committees.A copy of the terms of reference are attached to the electronic version of the agenda.

   Amendments – The applicant is no longer proposing to surface the paths. The applicant is proposing a new metal fence across the front boundary in front of the hedge.
