Get ready to rock, Stone! The much-anticipated annual music festival, Stone Rocks 2023, is back to thrill us all again with a marvellous medley of music and entertainment.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, 8th July, from 12-4pm at the Christ Church Academy School Field on Old Road. Pack your picnic blankets and sun cream, folks, because it’s going to be a sunny day filled with spectacular performances.
A Line-up to Rock Your Socks Off!
The line-up this year is as eclectic and exciting as ever, showcasing the astounding local talent that our town has to offer. Get ready to be wowed by the finalists of “CCA’s Got Talent”, the rhythmic beats of the African Drumming troupe, and the energetic moves of the CCA Haka. Listen out for performances from Spencer Arnold and the CA Rock Band, while the Musical Youth Theatre will be performing We Will Rock You.
And that’s not all! The Blessed William Howard Rock Band will be there to keep your feet tapping and heads bobbing. Plus, we have many more solo acts and dance troupes that are yet to be confirmed. Watch this space, Stone!
Music to Everyone’s Ears
This year’s acoustic tent will feature performances from the community choirs of Oulton First School, St. Michael’s First School, and Christ Church First School. Get ready to be charmed by the melodic Stone Stringsters and the CCA Choir, while the CCA Big Band and the Woodwind Ensemble promise to impress with their expertly executed pieces.
