Santa Claus is set to delight children at Stone’s Christmas Markets, with festive stalls and activities lined up for November 19th and December 10th.
The upcoming Stone Christmas Markets are poised to offer more than just festive shopping this year, as Santa Claus himself is scheduled to make enchanting appearances, spreading Christmas joy among the young and young-at-heart.

Santa’s Festive Grotto at former ChocBox
On Sunday, 19th November, the Christmas spirit will be within reaching distance as Santa sets up his grotto in the former ChocBox, next to All Seasons fruit and veg shop. Santa will be handing out gifts to the children thanks to the generous support of local butchers, Griffins of Stone. Tickets are essential and can be bought, at just £1 per child, from Carla Boutique or The Salvation Army charity shop. All proceeds will go toward the Stone Lions’ fundraising efforts.
A Second Chance for Santa Encounters
Missed the first opportunity? Worry not! Santa returns on Sunday, 10th December, offering a unique opportunity for ‘Selfies with Santa’. This day is dedicated to meet-and-greets, allowing families to capture a moment of Christmas magic with donations going towards this same honourable cause.
More Than Just a Market
The Stone Christmas Markets, renowned for their vibrant atmosphere, will feature an array of festive stalls. From mouth-watering food & drink to an assortment of gifts and crafts, these markets are an ideal destination for those looking to tick off their Christmas shopping list. Adding to the festive ambience will be carol singing and festive tunes, and Stone’s fantastic High Street shops, bars and restaurants will also be open.
The Importance of Supporting Local
Ed Stant of the Stone Traders’ Group, which is instrumental in organising these events in partnership with the team behind the Stone Food & Drink Festival, emphasises the significance of local trade.
“We’ve had a fantastic turnout for our Christmas Markets for the past couple of years, and both weekends have been great for town centre trade.
I can’t stress how important it is to shop local, especially in this tough financial climate – so come down and have some festive fun while supporting your High Street. It’s going to be great fun!”
