Marion and Gerald Canning marked their Diamond wedding anniversary in style, surrounded by friends, family and royal well wishes.
There was plenty to celebrate this weekend for Marion and Gerald Canning, who recently marked an incredible 60 years of marriage. The Stone couple received official congratulations from the King and Queen Consort as part of their Diamond wedding anniversary, a special tradition for couples reaching such a remarkable milestone.
The pair celebrated the occasion across a full weekend of events. On Saturday, they gathered with family at the Stone House Hotel, before welcoming more loved ones to their home on Sunday for a second day of festivities.
“It’s been an amazing weekend,” Marion and Gerald shared. “We’ve had so many cards and very generous presents, to which we are so thankful and grateful.”
