ALBOS first met them at 50, now Alan and Anne are celebrating 60 years of marriage

Alan and Anne Taylor are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary today, marking 60 years of marriage with a card from His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

The couple married in Birmingham in 1965 before relocating to Stone when Alan’s work brought him to Hanley. The couple were well known in the area as volunteer first responders 10 years ago, and are regulars in the town centre regularly participating or attending local events

We first spoke to Alan and Anne ten years ago, when they were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary and volunteering as Community First Responders. You can read that 2015 feature here: First responders celebrate golden wedding anniversary

The couple are honoured to receive a card from the King and Queen – a fitting gesture to mark six decades of love, laughter, and life together.

A huge congratulations to Alan and Anne from everyone at ALBOS.
