A Staffordshire family has paid tribute to a “loving son, brother, uncle and friend” after 26-year-old Callum Knott tragically died in a car crash on the outskirts of Stone.

Callum, from the Stafford area, sadly lost his life after the car he was travelling in collided with a tree on the A51, close to Aston Marina, at around 9:00 pm on Monday, 7th July 2025.
In a short statement, Callum’s family said:
“He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many. Please respect our privacy at this difficult time.”
Two other people, a woman and a child who were also in the vehicle, were taken to the hospital as a precaution following the crash. Both have since been discharged.
Police appeal for information
Staffordshire Police are continuing their investigation and have renewed their appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage from the evening of the incident.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was driving on the A51 in the area at the time or who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, use LiveChat via the Staffordshire Police website, or email the Collision Investigation Unit directly at ciu@staffordshire.police.uk.

Are you being serious. Where does it say he drove like a prick. No one knows what happened that night and you want to comment stupid false allegations. I’d love to see how you’d feel if that was someone you loved die and then have people comment shouldn’t have been a prick then. Take some time to think before you comment as his family read these.
