A reader is appealing for witnesses after a reported incident on Crown Street in Stone on the morning of Saturday 25 April 2026.
They said wood had come off a work van with a trailer on the one way system, near the public toilets and just before the traffic lights.
The reader said a person was hurt, and that a woman stopped at the scene and was going to call an ambulance.

They are now looking for anyone who saw what happened or may have information that could help.
