Stone mum Cheryl Senders has landed a place in the final of a top modelling competition.
Cheryl, aged 22, from the Hempbutts, has been named one of 30 finalists in the Natural Beauty category of the Top Model UK contest. She will be travelling to the Hilton Metropole in London in March to compete for the crown and the opportunity to take part in London Fashion Week.
As well as being judged by a panel of experts on Sunday 18th March, all the finalists also face the public vote, with the results taken into consideration when the winners are chosen. You can vote for Cheryl at the Top Model UK website.
Cheryl, who’s been sponsored by the Francesco Group, told The Sentinel: “This is the first thing I have done where I have to compete against other people so I just wanted to give it a go and try my luck. I’m just really hoping that this competition will be a springboard for me so I can start doing more editorial and commercial modelling. If I won the opportunity to take part in London Fashion Week that would just be amazing because it would be a massive chance to get noticed.”
