In light of the additional Bank Holiday for the funeral of Her Majesty The Queen, refuse collections in Stone next week will be a day later.
Stafford Borough Council have confirmed that there will be no recycling and refuse collections on Monday the 19th September – which has been declared a national bank holiday for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
It will mean that up to, and including, Saturday the 24th September, residents will have their blue, green and brown bins, and blue bags, emptied a day later than normal.
Therefore, households who would normally have had their bins collected on Monday (19th), will now have them emptied on Tuesday (20th) – and so on until Saturday, as is the usual procedure following a Bank Holiday Monday
As a reminder your bins should be put out for collection by 7am on the revised days.
