I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Jill Hood on her well-deserved victory in the County Council seat of Stone Urban. She was a worthy adversary who ran a clean and principled campaign, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to compete against.
I have every confidence that Jill will continue to do what she believes is right for Stone, and I wish her the very best in her continued service to our community. I’m already looking forward to the next contest when we face each other again—it’s always an honour to compete against someone of her calibre.
