A Stone family’s half-term getaway plans have been dashed after thieves struck, stealing their rooftop tent and damaging their vehicle. Now, they’re reaching out to the community for assistance in finding the culprits and reclaiming their stolen property.
In a distressing turn of events, a family parked their silver BMW X3 outside The Pheasant pub on Old Road, only to return and find their rooftop tent missing, bolts cut, roof rack damaged, and their car dented. The theft, which likely occurred on Sunday night, has left the family devastated, especially as they had plans to take their children away for the weekend.
Expressing their frustration, the affected family is now turning to the local community for support in their quest for justice. They are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around The Pheasant over the weekend to come forward with any information that could assist in the investigation.
As the family prepares to report the theft to the authorities, they are counting on the support of their fellow residents to aid in the recovery of their stolen property.
We urge anyone with information to come forward and assist in any way they can.
