Aston Marina’s Easter Egg Hunt brings in £900 for local charity

Aston marina - Bunny and ChequeAston Marina’s annual Easter Egg hunt welcomes families from across the Midlands to hunt for clues around its extensive grounds and earn themselves an easter egg – all in the name of charity.

This year, the nominated charity was Stafford-based A Child of Mine, which supports bereaved parents and, alongside the Easter Egg Hunt, visitors could opt to take a fun boat ride around the marina. Taking place over Easter Sunday and Monday, the event enjoyed great weather and attracted bumper numbers – raising an impressive £900 for the cause.

A Child of Mine founder and CEO, Gayle Routledge, who launched the charity following the tragic death of her son Lewis with the aim of supporting other parents dealing with the unimaginable loss of a baby or child, said:

Aston Marina director, Helen Clayton, says:
