Considerable delays were encountered by northbound traffic on the A34 this morning on the approach to Aston roundabout. A cement mixer somehow managed to turn over, reducing the roundabout to a single lane.
Thankfully no other vehicle was involved and, although rather shocked, the mixer driver was not injured.

It took two recovery vehicles a couple of hours to lift and remove the mixer.
