On 7th December 2016, with a mixture of retail and food, Stone High Street will be hosting a Christmas Market. Along with late night opening of Stone’s independent traders, it is hoped there will be something for everybody.
Stone Traders are organising the event with the market stalls being donated by Stone Town Council. The market, with late opening from the High Street traders, will be open from 5pm all the way through to 9pm on the night, the ideal opportunity to find that last minute gift, perhaps.
In the town there will be in excess of 17 unique food, retail and beverage vendors, which will include Christmas gifts, ladies fashion, children’s fashion, winter clothing and Christmas wreaths.
Foods on offer will include firm favourites such as hot roast baps, freshly made cakes and breads and vegan and gluten free choices.
The idea behind the market is to attract more shoppers into the High Street, which helps encourage more spending in our shops, restaurants, pubs and other businesses to create a more vibrant town.
The market has chosen Stone Community Hub as its charity who will also be holding a stall on the evening to promote their valuable service to the Stone community.
