Cuppa with a Copper returns to Stone this week

Stone residents will have a chance to raise concerns, ask questions, or simply have a chat with local officers this week as Cuppa with a Copper returns to the High Street.

Officers from the Stone Local Policing Team are due to be at Bod Coffee on Wednesday 8 April 2026 for an informal drop in session.

Chance to speak to local officers in town

The event is set to run from 4.30 pm until 6 pm at Bod Coffee on Stone High Street.

There is no need to book an appointment.

Police say anyone is welcome to come along, whether they want to talk about something happening in their area, ask a question, or just stop by for a quick chat.

It is a simple format, but one that gives people a chance to speak to neighbourhood officers face to face, away from a formal meeting setting.

For some residents, that might mean raising concerns about anti social behaviour, road safety, nuisance bikes or other day to day issues close to home.

For others, it may just be a useful chance to meet the local team and put faces to the names behind community policing updates.

Event details

The session will take place at Bod Coffee, High Street, Stone, on Wednesday 8 April 2026 from 4.30 pm to 6 pm.

Anyone who wants to attend can just turn up.

With the event happening in the late afternoon and early evening, it may suit people already heading through town, finishing work, or calling in for a coffee.

Community drop ins like this can also help officers hear directly about the sort of issues people are noticing in different parts of Stone, including concerns that may not always get reported elsewhere.
