On Sunday 8th December, Stone High Street will be taken over by the Stone Festival team to host a Fancy Dress Santa Bed Race – entry slots available!
The Stone Festival team have successfully developed the Soap Box Derby over the years and for 2019 they’re introducing a new race to the town…..a bed race!
The entertainment and activities kick off in the Market Square and High Street from 10:30am, ahead of the bed race that starts at 11:30am.
There are a number of categories available including adults, juniors, mixed ages, all-male, all-female and families!
Teams can be between three and six members with the sleeping team member being pushed around the Stone town course by the other team members.
All entrants will receive a certificate and there will be prizes for best-presented teams and beds!
Stone Radio will be on hand to compere the event, handling the event and prize announcements.
