The Crown and Anchor, a staple of Stone’s nightlife, is now on the market. After more than a decade of ownership, Custodio and Teresa, have decided the time is right to hand over the reins.
In a statement Custodio and Teresa shared with A Little Bit of Stone they said:
“We’ve had the C&A from 2001-2005 and then between 2013-2014 the C&A was closed down and the license revoked so the brewery and the Licensing Department asked us to rescue it from permanent closure, which is exactly what we did.
We have been here since 2014 and feel it’s now the right time to pass the Crown and Anchor on.”
Looking to the Future
As Custodio and Teresa step down, the Crown and Anchor presents an exciting opportunity for the next owner to continue its legacy as a late-night pub.
