Green-fingered youngsters dig in!

Parents and children of St Michael’s First School worked hard on Sunday preparing the school’s garden for some spring planting.

St Michael’s runs a Gardening Club once a month where pupils and parents can lend a hand in the school’s gardens and nature areas.

On Sunday 13th February, volunteers prepared raised beds for spring planting by covering them in compost from the school’s compost heap. All pupils are encouraged to recycle and all compostable material goes towards making compost.
