One of the highlights – among many! – of this year’s Food and Drink Festival was the Titanic Brewery Best of Staffordshire beer tent.
Twenty-four ales from all over the county, fruit wine, real cider, live music and George’s pies from The Blue Rooms. What more could you possibly want?!
Saturday’s scorching temperatures certainly saw festival-goers parched. So much so, in fact, that all supplies had run dry at the end of the Saturday. There was supposed to be enough to last the entire weekend!
Brad from Lymestone Brewery said he was at his brewery in Stone at 6.30am on the Sunday morning to restock supplies so that festival fans on the Sunday could sample his range of ales.
Many thanks to Josh Cope for these great pictures from the Titanic Best of Staffordshire beer festival.

We would like to congratulate the team of volunteers who worked so very hard making the food festival a great success. Very little is understood or appreciated just how much work goes on behind the scenes. Well it’s a big thank you from George & Gill and all our staff at the Blue Rooms & Georges pies.

Hi George – I would echo your thoughts completely, It’s a huge task delivering a festival of this size that does so much to put Stone on the map. Hope you had a great festival in the beer tent – I didn’t get round to getting one of your steak and stilton pies unfortunately :/ I’ll be in The Blue Rooms for one soon though!!
