Stone Festival got off to a great start at the weekend with two of its most popular events – the dog show and raft race.
Dozens of dogs and their owners took part in the dog show at Westbridge Park on Sunday after the last of the homemade rafts had made it back safe from their journey down the Trent from Darlaston.
Pictures are by Little Bit of Stone photographer Joshua Cope. You can see lots more of his work on his website here.

There could be in interesting and unusual and unique photographic vantage point next year – you could say i’m mad for doing it but i’m thinking of getting into the water next year some how 😛 either in waders (definitely glad i didn’t do that this year due to the strong water flow) or getting in a 2 man canoe/kayak

Get it in your diary for next year Jon – it’s brilliant! In fact, do you fancy entering a Little Bit of Stone raft next year?!

Now that sounds like a great idea!
