About Plants The Jewellers
Plants The Jewellers is an independent, family-run jeweller in the heart of Stone, Staffordshire. Established in 1993, we pride ourselves on offering a personal, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers.
From helping someone choose an engagement or wedding ring to finding a special gift, arranging a repair or simply looking after a much-loved piece of jewellery, our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
We are now looking for a Jewellery Sales & Digital Assistant to join our friendly team.
About the role
This is a varied and interesting role combining jewellery sales, customer service, administration and digital/social media support.
You will be an important part of our small team and will help create the welcoming, personal experience our customers have come to expect from Plants.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance
Helping customers choose jewellery and gifts
Assisting with engagement and wedding ring enquiries
Processing sales and handling payments
Taking in and organising jewellery and watch repairs
General shop and stock duties
Using computer systems for day-to-day administration
Helping with our social media presence, including creating and posting content
Taking photographs and videos of jewellery for social media where appropriate
Assisting with promotions, new product launches and seasonal content
Helping keep our website and digital information up to date
Providing excellent customer service both in-store and through digital channels
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, confident and approachable
Naturally good with people and enjoys talking to customers
Professional, reliable and trustworthy
Passionate about providing excellent customer service
Interested in jewellery, fashion and luxury retail
Confident using computers and social media
Comfortable creating or contributing to social media content
Creative, enthusiastic and willing to learn
Well organised and able to work as part of a small team
Comfortable taking responsibility and using their own initiative
Previous jewellery retail experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
What matters most to us is your personality, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Full training will be provided, with opportunities to undertake industry-led jewellery courses and develop your knowledge and skills within the trade.

Hours
4 days per week, including Saturdays on a rota basis, with very occasional Sundays.
