
Lloyds Bank, the last remaining bank in Stone, will permanently close its branch doors on Tuesday, the 17th of September. However, customers can continue to access face-to-face banking services as Lloyds joins the Stone Community Banking Hub two days later, on Thursday, 19th September.
Located at the Frank Jordan Community Centre on Lichfield Street, the Banking Hub has been set up as a temporary location for residents in Stone following the closures of high street banks. It offers essential in-person banking services from multiple banks throughout the week.
Hub Location and Opening Hours:
- Location: Frank Jordan Community Centre, Lichfield Street, ST15 8NA
- Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. Closed on weekends.

- Monday: NatWest (09:00 – 17:00)
- Tuesday: HSBC (09:00 – 17:00)
- Wednesday: Santander (09:00 – 17:00)
- Thursday: Lloyds (09:00 – 17:00)
- Friday: Barclays (09:00 – 17:00)

Services Available:
Customers can perform essential transactions such as:
- Cash withdrawals and deposits
- Cheque deposits
- Paying utility bills
- Checking account balances
- Collecting change (for registered business customers)
For those whose banks do not offer a Community Banker at the Hub, the Post Office counter service remains available. It provides access to basic banking services for all major banks and building societies whenever the Hub is open, including paying in cheques and cash, withdrawing cash, and managing utility bills. The main Stone Post Office also offers the same essential banking services.
