Megan Rogers, PCSO for Stone, has issued a Staffordshire Smart Alert today about a scam involving “free alarms” in the Stone area.
The following has been issued this afternoon by Stone PCSO Megan Rogers using the Staffordshire Smart Alert system.

Please be advised that there is a scam going around in the Stone area. The caller will state that they plan to install alarms free of charge which will notify the Police or Fire service of any issues. It has been suggested that they will be in the area of Fraser Close and Redfern Road in Stone tomorrow (25/02/21). Please remain vigilant and notify the police of any suspicious activity.
