Lymestone Brewery’s Stone pub The Borehole will be opening to the public on Friday 20th March at 6.30pm.
The pub is a stone’s throw from the brewery, on Mount Road on the edge of the industrial estate, in a building that has been, amongst other things over the years, National Rivers Authority offices.
Lymestone opened its first pub – the award-winning Lymestone Vaults in Newcastle – in November 2012, but it has always been brewery owners Brad and Viv’s ambition to open a pub in Stone too and planning permission for the Mount Road building was granted last year.
It looks like being a great addition to the town’s pub scene, with eight real ales available.
