Male voice choir in plea for new singers

Stone Male Voice Choir have issued a ‘use it or lose it’ plea as it searches for new singers to secure its future in the town.

The choir celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2011 but over the last three years has lost 20 members.

The choir has now issued a challenge to male singers in the town. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm at Bromfield Court Social Centre off Radford Street (opposite the Royal Exchange pub). They perform everything from film and musicals to opera and religious songs.
