Pupils from Manor Hill First School have created a pond and wildlife area at their school in Walton.

The school’s eco team – The Eco Warriors – were visited by Stone mayor Jill Piggott at the end of June, who saw the results of all their hard work first-hand and performed the official opening. The pupils have designed the area to encourage wildlife and it will be used for further study and cross-curricular activities. The work was funded by Stafford Borough Council. The school would like to say a huge thank you to the council, especially Karen Davies and Mr Key for their support.
