Master Marathoners’ coast-to-coast success

Coast to Coast
We’ve done it! The runners in Robin Hood’s Bay

A group of runners from Stone Master Marathoners ran 169 miles over the bank holiday weekend at the start of May as they completed the Coast To Coast challenge.

From Saturday 4th May the group ran relay legs of five miles over three days from St Bees on the West Coast to Robin Hood’s Bay on the East Coast. They passed through the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, including some extremely challenging gradients like the infamous Hardknott Pass.
