The family of Kieran ‘Lally’ McColl is raising money for a memorial bench in the town in memory of Lally – please donate if you can.
Lally, who was 21, went missing on 8th May and, tragically, his body was found in the canal in Stone a few days later. His younger brother Trav has started a campaign to raise £2,500 for a memorial bench on the canal towpath in the town.

At the time of writing, over £1,000 has so far been raised. A Facebook page has also been set up – click HERE to see that.
Meanwhile, friends of Connan McCleod, the 22-year-old who died in Stone after suffering a fatal stab wound in April, are raising money for his family. Click HERE to donate. The issue of a memorial bench in Connan’s memory was raised at Stone Town Council by Cllr Jill Hood recently, but discussion were postponed until the legal case has been completed.
