Mock The Week regular Gary Delaney will be performing in Stone on Monday night (6th October) at The Swan’s latest free stand-up comedy night.
As well as Mock The Week, Gary has also recently appeared on Dave’s ‘One Night Stand’, Comedy Central’s ‘Comedy Blue’ and on Channel 4’s ‘Robert’s Web’, as well as Radio 4’s ‘Loose Ends’ and Radio 2’s ‘Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour’.
The Guardian said of his stand-up show – “Expect a cavalcade of brilliantly inventive puns from this master of the one-liner, a craftsman to be ranked along with likes of Tim Vine and Milton Jones”
He has written for a variety of TV and radio programmes including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News, Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks, and Radio 4’s The News Quiz. Gary received two Sonys for his work for Kerrang! Radio. Gary’s Twitter feed – @GaryDelaney – was also nominated for a Chortle Award in 2011.

The comedy starts at 8.30pm and, as well as Gary Delaney, there will be performances from Jon Pearson, Freddie Farrell, Lou Conran, Rick Wood, Tom Lennon and Jane Huxley.
Organiser Danny Davies says there will also be an exciting announcement about the final Swan comedy night of the year on 17th November!
