More plans for new homes in Walton

Another housebuilder is holding a public exhibition this week on plans for housing in Walton.

David Wilson Homes is staging the exhibition at The Lamb pub on Eccleshall Road on Thursday 4th July between 3pm and 7.30pm. The housebuilder wants to build new homes on land next to Common Lane in Walton. Their preliminary proposals will be on show and people will be able to leave feedback ahead of a full planning application to the borough council. A letter to people living nearby doesn’t state how many homes it is looking to build.

The letter states: “David Wilson Homes is committed to engaging with the local community regarding this proposal and has commenced a pre-application consultation programme. This is to inform the local community about the initial plans as well as to obtain local feedback, which would, where possible, be incorporated into the final proposals.

“The exhibition will provide an opportunity for local people to view the scheme and comment on the preliminary plans prior to the submission of a full planning application. In addition, members of the project team will be in attendance to answer any queries that you may have.”

If you can’t make the exhibition, you can still have your say and have a look at the preliminary plans by visiting www.consultation-online.co.uk/waltonheath – the site will be live on 4th July.
