Music festival to mark Titanic centenary

The Royal Exchange in Stone is taking part in the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic with a special music festival, aptly titled ‘And The Band Played On’.

As well as live music from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th April, the pub in Radford Street – part of the Titanic fleet of boozers – will be visited by relatives of Captain Smith, the Stoke-on-Trent born captain of the doomed liner.

  • The Exchange is already the home of some great live music on Monday nights with “Jazz in Stone”.  Started in 1999 at the Red Lion then to the Vine and now the Exchange, you can hear Jazz from the best in local and national talent.
