New equipment marks start of expansion plans for Panda Press

ALBOS website sponsors, Stone printing and design firm Panda Press, has begun a two-year programme of investment and expansion thanks to the purchase of new ‘state-of-the-art’ equipment.

Panda Press has just invested £80,000 in a new automated creaser, perforator, slitter and stitching line in their print finishing department, which will allow the team to improve turnaround times as well as take on larger projects. The firm is also planning on refurbishing its premises at 1 Newcastle Street, which it has called home since the company’s launch in 1972.

Sales Director Hannah Tunnicliffe said the investment in the equipment will mean increased running capacity and the ability to meet tighter deadlines.

Hannah said:

Our clients always expect the best from us and we take pride in delivering outstanding printed products with a beautiful finish. Investing in new machinery means we can continue to meet these existing high standards while now being able to accommodate even larger print runs on an even tighter schedule.

We have big plans in place over the next couple of years as we aim to increase our output and running capacity.”

The company already works with a number of high-profile businesses across the Midlands and beyond, creating high-quality printed marketing materials including corporate publications, advertising and other promotional products.

Clients have the option to use an in-house graphic design service, while technologically advanced machinery allows all aspects of a project to be completed on site – from initial concept to branding and layout and final print finish.

Hannah continued:
