Ornamentation is awesome at World of Wedgwood

If you’re after something creative to do this February half term, World of Wedgwood are inviting people to get hands on with clay, with special Awesome Ornamentation activities for visitors.

World of Wedgwood

Perfect for all ages, visitors will have the opportunity to create their very own Wedgwood plaque, using the traditional method of applied ornamentation, which entails rolling out their clay before cutting it to shape and applying decoration in their own unique style.  They will then have the choice of taking their finished plaque straight home, or leaving it with the World of Wedgwood team to be fired and sent on to them.

“From the beginning of March, we’ll also be hosting Resonance, a temporary exhibition of the First World War collections held in Staffordshire’s museums, so we thought this would be a very pertinent theme.”[/box]
