Paul’s brilliant bird’s eye views of Stone

One of Paul’s photographs taken from high above the town

Paul Moloney from Stone is getting some fantastic images of the town by using a remote-controlled quadcopter with on-board camera.

There’s something so brilliant about seeing where you live from up on high. You get a really different perspective on things!

The copter can reach heights of 600m and – as people who are members of Paul’s Facebook group have been seeing – the results are amazing. You can join Paul’s rapidly growing Facebook group HERE. He is looking for suggestions of where he can fly the DJI Phantom quadcopter – not just in Stone but across Staffordshire, so let Paul know by joining the group and posting your thoughts.

Personally, it would be fantastic to see Stone from the air during the music festival, summer festival and food & drink festival. Hope Paul can manage to do this!

It’s not just photographs that Paul is taking, either. There’s some great video too. Here’s one from a recent flight from Westbridge Park…
