Colin Paterson defended his Stone and District Pool League junior title, seeing off an increased field of quality opponents to claim the trophy for the second year running.
Colin didn’t drop a frame in recording victories over four opponents and was clearly the best cueist, having benefitted from tutorage from The Pavillionaires captain Neil Rowley over the last 12 months. Newcomer Charlie Kirkham looked a threat but was beaten in the semi-finals by Colin.
Last year’s semi-finalist Joe Shepherd went one stage further this year, reaching the final.
The competition was held at The Lamb in front of a good sized crowd of parents and local pool enthusiasts.
Colin will receive his trophy at the Stone Pool League presentation evening on Friday 9th January at The Lamb.
