Between Monday 14th November – Friday 18th November Richie Anderson, one of the BBC Midlands Children In Need presenters, is doing a 250 mile tandem bike round around the Midlands. The whole of the 250 miles will be done with different celebrities accompanying him on each leg. Each day they’re hoping to cover 50 miles and it will push their bodies to the limit, not to mention the awful weather so they’re after as much support as possible.
On Monday 14th November, at approximately 5:00pm to 5:30pm, Richie and Stones very own Joe Clarke, will be arriving to cycle through the High Street.
This is a rallying call for people and businesses to line the streets as Richie and Joe cycle past. The bike will be led by a security marshal and trailed by a children in Need van with a beacon on. A BBC camera crew will be in tow and Pudsey himself will stop for selfies!
There will be a tracker of the journey on the BBC website so you can see exactly where they are at all times!
It would be lovely for Joe to see a huge home crowd so feel free to spread the word and help Children in Need smash last years £37million.
