Runners make a splash at Stone 10k!

The rain came down for this year’s Stone 10k – but it didn’t stop the hundreds of runners who took part, nor the crowds who cheered them on!

In a really nice touch after all the race trophy presentations, race organiser Chris Barlow presented a special trophy to St Michael’s First School headteacher Mary Gale, who retires this summer after 17 years at the school. Chris presented the trophy to Mrs Gale for all her support for the Stone 10k over the years…
