Sailors from HMS Collingwood march down Stone High Street

Around 150 sailors from HMS Collingwood exercised their freedom of the borough on Saturday 10th March by parading through Stone.

The sailors – led by their marching band – paraded from Westbridge Park, round Crown Street and down the High Street (where they were met with cheers and applause, as well as taking the salute from town mayor June Price and other dignitaries) before heading down Lichfield Street for a church service at St Michael’s.

Here’s a video as the parade got under way.
