See excellence in action at Yarlet School open mornings

Yarlet School Open Mornings October 2015

Yarlet pupils are encouraged to aim high and their success in senior school entrance examinations at 13 is testament to their hard work and determination.

Of our 2015 leavers, 70% achieved scholarship awards to their senior school, covering all aspects of school life: Academic, Mathematics, All-Round, Sport, Music and Choral.

Aiming high means that we expect the very best from your child inside and outside the classroom, whether aged two or aged 13. It means that we set challenging, but achievable, academic targets to ensure that all pupils are stretched to achieve to the best of their ability and also learn to become responsible, independent thinkers.

Set in 33 acres of Staffordshire countryside Yarlet School is home to unrivalled sporting facilities. Pupils take part in a daily games session, with a full and varied programme organised for pupils of all levels of sporting ability. Our programme is fully inclusive and all pupils will have opportunities to represent their school in teams.

Annual drama productions, ballet shows, nativity plays, music concerts and carol services bring the arts to life at Yarlet and inspire self-belief and creative confidence in all our pupils. Every child has the opportunity to shine.

The family atmosphere at Yarlet ensures that our children are nurtured to understand the importance of kindness, courtesy and respect for others. Children enjoy coming to school, as can be seen by their happy, smiling faces.
