Young performers from Stone helped to raise over £9,000 for a local teenage cancer charity with their performance of Les Miserables.
The sell-out show from TDA Productions at Stoke Repertory Theatre was seen by over 1,400 people over the six shows who enjoyed what was called “the best show in the theatre’s history”.
A cast of over 30 talented young people – including many from Stone and a musical director from the town, Elliot Clay – put on a great show and raised an amazing amount for the charity.
Director Tom Attwood said: “I would like to thank everyone who came and made it such a huge success. Also a huge thank you to all of the amazing cast, crew, front-of-house staff and of course the Stoke Rep for being so friendly and helpful!”
A Joe Gilligan Trust representative added: “The money that we will receive from TDA Productions will help the charity so much and will make a huge difference to teenage cancer sufferers. A huge thank you to all involved.”
