If you’ve not spotted it under the scaffolding that has recently come down, Sir Gavin Williamson now has a Stone Constituency Office on Stone High Street.
The office has quietly appeared at 19A High Street, in the building that previously housed Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe.
Following his election last year as MP for the new Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge constituency, this marks his first local base in the town. A small notice on the door confirms that the office will be officially opening soon, with staff on-site selected days.
Opening hours are:
- Monday: 9am to 5pm
- Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
- Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 9am to 5pm
The office is expected to become a contact point for residents wishing to raise local concerns or book in for surgery appointments.
