Stone’s Aston Marina is really getting into the ‘spirit’ of Halloween this year, with a fun family Halloween Hunt planned for the October half-term to raise funds for Dougie Mac Hospice.
On Sunday the 29th, Monday the 30th, and Tuesday the 31st of October, families will be challenged to follow a ‘trick or treat’ trail to find the clues hidden around the marina’s extensive grounds – youngsters will need to draw the different pumpkins they find along the way to solve a spooky riddle and earn themselves some lucky dip treats for taking part. The entry fee of £3.50pp will help raise funds for North Staffs hospice Dougie Mac.
Aston Marina director, Helen Webb, says:
“Our charity Easter Egg Hunt is always a huge success, and we love being able to give something back to local charities – so we thought a Halloween Trail would be a great addition to the calendar.
Dougie Mac does an amazing job supporting families through their toughest times, so we are delighted to have this chance to raise funds to support their incredible work. We can’t wait to see lots of families hunting for clues around the marina – we’re encouraging everyone to come in fancy dress, so it should be lots of fun!”
When they’ve finished their Halloween Hunt, families can head into the marina’s No.26 Bar & Restaurant to refuel with hot drinks and cakes – if lunch is on the menu, then reservations are essential to avoid disappointment.
Booking is essential as numbers are limited – call 01785 819702 to book.
