It was a year of sporting successes at St Dominic’s Priory School in Stone.
Ellie Cope was selected as Vice-Captain for the Staffordshire U11 County Girls Team and Callum Hawkins was chosen for the U9 Staffordshire County Cricket Team.
Both were instrumental in their school teams being victorious in the U9 Stafford & District Mixed Kwik Cricket Tournament and U11 Stafford & District Girls Asda Kwik Cricket tournament.
Meanwhile, congratulations to Hollie Stowe, who won the Staffordshire County Title in the Yr 10/11 80m hurdles and was runner-up in the Yr 10/11 high jump at the U17/U15 Staffordshire Schools County Championships.
She also won the Midlands Independent Schools high jump title and scooped silver in the 80m hurdles.
And Ellie Cope won the Year 6 Midlands shot putt title at the ISA Midlands Junior Athletics Championships.
