St Dominics new facilities unveiled

St Dominic’s Priory School opened their brand new facilities for the new 2020 term last week, and ALBOS went along to take a look.

The new block for the Independent school has been under construction since October 2018, and houses a performing arts studio, 14 new classrooms, and state of the art science labs. The impressive classrooms boast dedicated tech rooms, music facilities, and art room.

Each classroom also has its own Activ Panel, which promotes interactive learning, along with standard whiteboards.

Whilst the senior pupils will be the ones based in the new block, all the children from pre-school upwards that attend the school will see the benefits of the specialist rooms.

The building and internal facilities are now open and buzzing with students, the project is not quite finished, with a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and AstroTurf outdoor area hopefully being completed by February.
