
From Monday, 1st July, Stone residents and business owners will be able to access a new banking hub from 9:00am to 5:00pm – Monday to Friday.
With Lloyds Bank’s imminent closure in the town, Stone residents will now be able to access in-person banking services, with dedicated days for specific community banking services.
Whilst plans are underway for a permanent banking hub, a temporary setup has been created in the Stone Town Council ran Frank Jordan Community Centre on Lichfield Street.

- Monday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Tuesday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Wednesday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Thursday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
Community Banker availability at the Stone Banking Hub
Community Bankers will be available on the following timetable. Click the name of a bank to see what services your community banker will be able to provide.
- Monday: NatWest from 09:00 to 17:00
- Tuesday: No Community Banker available – HSBC will take this slot shortly
- Wednesday: Santander from 09:00 to 17:00
- Thursday: No Community Banker available currently – Lloyds will take this slot when the branch closes
- Friday: Barclays from 09:00 to 17:00
Services available at the counter of the Stone Banking Hub
- Withdraw cash
- Deposit cash
- Deposit cheques
- Pay utility bills
- Check your account balance
- Collect change (registered business customers)
As well as these, you can also talk to a Community Banker from your bank on the day your bank is in the Hub. There is a private space where you can talk face-to-face about more complicated banking enquiries like payments and transfers, managing your account, and how to use online banking.

It’s not in the Stone Post Office. It’s in the Frank Jordan Centre (which has its own carpark) on Lichfield Street.

The new banking needs to be at the top off the High Street where there is plenty off Parking around not in the isolated post office at the bottom off the town where there is no parking

Just park at Morrisons and use the little cut through onto church Street by stone kebab house and you’re a the Frank Jordan Centre
