Stone Coop Funeralcare is hosting a charity coffee morning later this month to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The coffee morning takes place on Friday 25 September from 10am until midday its branch at 33 High Street, Stone.
Residents are welcome to drop in during the morning and support the fundraising effort.
The event forms part of Macmillan Coffee Morning, the charity’s biggest annual fundraiser. The initiative began in 1990 with a simple idea of bringing people together for coffee while making a donation to Macmillan. The fundraiser has since grown to involve millions of people across the country.
Friday 25 September is the official Coffee Morning date for 2026. Macmillan says events can be held before or after the day. Coffee mornings take place in homes, workplaces, schools and community venues, with money raised helping Macmillan support people living with cancer.
