Stone film-maker wins film festival award

A Stone film-maker won a top award at Stoke-on-Trent’s third festival of the moving image after creating a short film from scratch in just 48 hours.

Nathan Williams worked with Herefordshire-based Wind Up World Films to produce Sad-O for Stoke Your Fires‘ 48 Hour Film Challenge.

A theme and specific item that had to be included in competition entries were revealed at 10am on Saturday 19th February. Completed films had to be uploaded to YouTube by 10am on Monday 21st to be entered into the competition.

You can have a look at Nathan’s award-winning film below. Sad-O, a clown for hire suffering from SAD (seasonal affective disorder), is inspired to make some lifestyle and professional changes when he meets his polar opposite on a lunch break!
